Rototuna Sports Parks is already being developed: there are concept plans for five sports pitches, available for a range of codes in 2020. ​

What is informally known as Park Lane – a street yet to have an official name – will be constructed in conjunction with the development of the sports park.

On the Hamilton City Council Website there are three further sports parks in development, Mangaiti Park,  Te Manatu Park, and Hare Puke park.
