Opened in July 2018, the Destination Playground at Hare Puke Park includes a wide range of modern and colourful playground equipment, toilets, sand play area, scooter track and extensive landscaping. The playground’s theme is hinaki (eel net) and tuna (eel), reflecting the cultural heritage of area and its significance to iwi.
