North East Welcomes Settlers (NEWS) is a NECH initiative that offers a personal welcome visit to anyone moving into our neighbourhood.
Meet the neighbours
Come along and meet the people who live around you. Coffee from 10.30 to noon on the second Tuesday of every month at Archies Café, Corner of Borman Road and Hare Puke Drive. We invite locals who want others to feel welcome in our area, and anyone who is new to our area, to Hamilton or to New Zealand. We would especially welcome multi-lingual people so that those who are more confident speaking their primary language can feel included.
